The \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/sourceforge.net\/projects\/dice-roll\/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003ER\u003C\/a\u003E\u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/sourceforge.net\/projects\/dice-roll\/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003EPG Dice Roller\u003C\/a\u003E is a pretty straight-forward roller. It has the basic die types a click away, along with a \"custom\" die. You can roll multiple dice and apply modifiers as well.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe only problem I've had with this program is if I just hammer the \"roll\" button like a test monkey on crack\u0026nbsp; it will lock up for a moment without giving me the interim rolls. I type \"better judgement\" because the first video recommended to me was about casting your own dice.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ERight off I'm not a fan of copying dice, which is essentially what Rybonator is doing, although he is making cool variations. Inkwell Ideas is running a Kickstarter for another round of \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.kickstarter.com\/projects\/inkwellideas\/dungeonmorphs-revenge-rpg-dungeon-dice-and-cards\/description\" target=\"_blank\"\u003EDungeonMorph Dice\u003C\/a\u003E. These dice aren't cheap (\u003Ci\u003Ewhich is odd coming from a guy who buys a lot of much more expensive dice\u003C\/i\u003E) and at first glance I wouldn't consider them normal \"Frugal\" fare, but you could easily toss them in my normal realm for being a relatively lightweight\/inexpensive way to generate countless locations quick \u0026amp; easy.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EJoe Wetzel, of \u003Ca href=\"http:\/\/inkwellideas.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003EInkwell Ideas\u003C\/a\u003E, is what we'd call (\u003Ci\u003Eif you were from my particular neck of the woods\u003C\/i\u003E) \"good people\". If you look at his website you'll see several products I've recommended in the past, and I think I already have the earlier set of the DungeonMorph Dice. I know I've used them before and I can say they're pretty cool. This is great when everybody is online, but when you need online dice when \"offline\" from the group?\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EEnter the \u003Ca href=\"http:\/\/www.pbegames.com\/roller\/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003EPlay By Email Dice Roller\u003C\/a\u003E. Yesterday I went to finish rolling up a backup PC and wanted a way to roll online without spamming the group chat. Using this dice roller you can have up to five \"rolls\" (\u003Ci\u003Ecan be multiple dice in each roll\u003C\/i\u003E) which can be shared with up to five email addresses and......\u003Ci\u003E\u003Cb\u003Eand\u003C\/b\u003E\u003C\/i\u003E there is a built-in verification system. The results can be emailed, displayed on the screen, or both. I only saw two minor issues with the dice roller, and one was due to the system I was playing. You see the results, not the roll itself, so 3d4+1 would get you a result ranging from 4 to 13. Who wants a bunch of heavy-as-hell dice that easily run $35-$45 for a set?\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Ca name='more'\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAfter getting to play with these dice....this guy!\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EI don't know if it was the novelty, the presentation, or the fact that these dice seem more like my favorite dice I'm used to using.....either way I really liked these dice. The dice are actually held in place by a foam cutout. Now I've seen dice come in nice enough boxes with foam placeholders, but nothing so nice. It kind of reminded me of a jewelry box, something you'll definitely want to keep. There was some extra foam in the cases as well, for shipping, to keep the dice from marring up the inside of the box. Each set weighed in at about 4 1\/2 ounces. Might not seem too much until you realize that means they are a quarter of a pound or 125(ish) grams. I actually broke out my kitchen scale to weigh these things.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EI didn't think these dice were too heavy, just interesting compared to my \"normal\" dice. I will say though, without hesitation, that if you decided to purchase these dice and use them during your game, \u003Ca href=\"http:\/\/www.frugalgm.com\/2016\/05\/frugal-gm-review-dice-tray-and-dice-cup.html\" target=\"_blank\"\u003Esplurge for the dice tray.\u003C\/a\u003E The tray is a bit of a no-brainer when it comes to these dice because they are heavy and metal. Using these dice straight on a table will quickly cause the table top to chip, crack, gouge, etc. depending on construction. You \u003Cstrike\u003Ecould\u003C\/strike\u003E will do some serious damage if you aren't careful \u0026amp; considerate.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EI preferred the gun metal to the copper myself and it looks like Easy Dice Roller Co. is going to be coming out with a bunch more gun metal colors (\u003Ci\u003Einking\u003C\/i\u003E) at the end of next month.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThese dice are really cool and I personally think they'd make great gifts. As far as using them in game your results will vary. For me to be able, well realistically able, to use these metal dice in a game I'd need a second matching set of dice, a few extra\/other colored d10's, and I'd really like to find some of the odd dice........I wouldn't kill, but would consider maiming for a gun metal d30.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThis brings me to my only real reservation regarding Easy Roller Dice Co. and that is the availability of purchasing individual dice. Normally I'd be put off by the price, but I think the quality and the presentation puts these dice on a much better footing than similar-enough dice from other vendors. They feel great, roll well, and are pretty-much brag worthy.
