Evidently he's been losing Patrons to this website, or something? I'm not delving too deep into it. I love Dyson's work and on some level Dyson himself.....not so much. We don't mesh well politically and he says stuff that rubs me the wrong way.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EWell it would if I cared and payed much attention to his opinion, but I don't.....you know why? It doesn't matter! Last I checked, all those dates pre-date May 2020!\u003Cp\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EEven if, and this is a big, fat, lying \"if\", Dyson was \"copying\" the style of \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/dungeonscrawl.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\"\u003EDungeon Scrawl\u003C\/a\u003E.......so what? One (\u003Ci\u003Etoday's Free GM Resource\u003C\/i\u003E) is giving you tools to create your own maps and the other is giving away completed maps. Two very different, but related, things.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ENow I occasionally like making maps, but a good, highly-detailed map.....like Dyson makes. Total PITA. The fact that he gives away so much of his work thanks to his Patreon makes me think if you want finished maps, you need to hit up \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/dysonlogos.blog\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\"\u003EDyson's Dodecahedron\u003C\/a\u003E and follow his \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.patreon.com\/dysonlogos\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\"\u003EPatreon\u003C\/a\u003E. You can download the maps, but they are a \"low\" resolution. Actually the maps are like 400dpi, just on the small size, so if you need it on a screen you can resize it to a something \"physically\" larger.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EAt first glance, the \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/oshermaps.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\"\u003EOsher Map Library\u003C\/a\u003E doesn't seem to be a decent online resource, especially if you select the obvious...and prominent \"BROWSE MAPS\" feature. What I found so much more useful was to do the almost-as-obvious \"Search our Collection\" feature. If you want to look up old maps, something I like to do in order to tweak my own map projects.....then \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/mapire.eu\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003EMapire\u003C\/a\u003E is a pretty cool place.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EFor the most part you just get to view the maps online, but if you have some online web-based needs for the maps you can embed these maps.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EPersonally I like the ability to zoom in \u0026amp; out on the main page...\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAs a bit of a twofer, one of the associated websites, \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/maps.hungaricana.hu\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003EHungaricana\u003C\/a\u003E, has some cool maps you can view as well. Between hoarding, projects, and micro-computers I'm certain I have at least 20 different computers, but only a couple (maybe even only one) with a NVIDIA graphics card.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EIf you happen to have a NVIDIA card and you use that computer to play computer games, which you probably do 'cause why bother with a graphic card (I know there are other reasons for having graphics cards.....just roll with me here), \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/developer.nvidia.com\/Ansel\" target=\"_blank\"\u003Ethen you can download the Ansel plugin\u003C\/a\u003E and then BAM!\u0026nbsp; you can now \"\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: \u0026quot;courier new\u0026quot; , \u0026quot;courier\u0026quot; , monospace;\"\u003Etake stunning in-game photographs in nearly 40 games, from virtually any angle, at super resolutions, and in full 3D.\u003C\/span\u003E\"\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EI know some folks might be going, \"so?\" but think of it......if you can take high res screen shots wherever you want then you can capture your in-game footage to use at the game table. Like the terrain of The Witcher 3? Put that camera up in the sky, take some screen shots, and then you have a game map. Trying to make some cool isometric maps.....screenshot.
