Free GM (and Player) Resource: Groupfinder

I got a Blogger message notification a couple days ago from the folks over at Groupfinder, asking if I'd help promote their new site. Normally not really my thing, but after taking a look at the site, it's totally my thing and had I found the site organically I'd have shared it.....actually need to double-check I haven't done so already (ok...checked, I hadn't).

So Groupfinder is a site, and Android app, that pretty much does exactly what you'd expect an app with the name to do: help you find a (gaming) group. It's based out of Estonia, if that matters, and "is a platform where users can post their player profile or list their group and be publicly visible to all interested. Whether they are looking to play a game online or at your local town or city." 

Now I did read the TOS and filled out an account, and....as expected, there were no open games within 200km. Yes, the distance is listed not in freedom units, but it is based out of Estonia....

Not super useful right now for in-person games, which is to be expected, but there were some online games listed for my time zone and there are some games stateside......so as this website/app grows and word gets "out there", numbers will improve. There's also messaging and the ability to post player profiles as well...

...and all for free.
