This is a bit of a quickie, and I'm not counting it as a resource, even though it totally is: Dungeons & Dog Tags. At it's core it's "just" a Discord and Facebook community for getting a specific population together to game. Not coincidentally a population I belong to.
Now I've had games & gamers where things were just....different because we were Veterans, and I do believe that a) gaming is very much a social activity and b) there aren't always "regular" activities for vets to get together for, so check Dungeons & Dog Tags out.
