Frugal GM Review: Ravenlands Winter Cottage

Frugal GM Review: Ravenlands Winter Cottage
One of the freebies from DriveThruRPG in my recent acquisition is a Winter Cottage map from Scrying Eye Games.

It is a cool map that is pretty much self-descriptive, a small cottage in the woods during winter.  At a scale of 1" equals 5' this map runs 80 foot by 100 feet.

The map is designed to be printed out and assembled.  My only criticism is that I would like to use the map as a digital file in online gaming, but I cannot do so because I'd need to manipulate the file in Photoshop and the PDF is password protected.

This map would be a great addition to a GM's arsenal of small maps.  Personally I would like to pull this out for a "special encounter", especially when there isn't anything truly "special".  It has been my experience that when you pull out a map like this the players expect a hook, some trouble, or a major encounter.
