North Texas RPG Con: Day 4 Report

North Texas RPG Con: Day 3 Report
The last day of a con is always a bit bittersweet. I didn't have any games scheduled, but my buddy had heard about a morning game he wanted to get in on, so we woke up way too early, grabbed breakfast, and was good to go in case the game started at 0900.

No game so not much to do except BS with friends, new and old, and shop. I ended up winning the bids on all the silent auction items I bid on, which would be some Pathfinder Battlemats and some older Zines.

More Fight On! Zines

Actually, I kind of forgot that I had bought some other zines before finding out about winning all of my bids. One vendor had a bunch of DCC stuff for 75% off, so I picked up 4 adventures as well.

Some more screwing around at the convention and I found a simple print I liked. I still had $23 in cash left, so one more print got added to my growing haul.....

I was fortunate to be able to pack up and load out my car before a HUGE downpour came in with the storm. I took the time to pick up three copies of another new Zine and some original art from that issue. I'll be figuring out a way to give away two signed copies.....

Maximum HP Zine

By now I have quite a few new Zines to check out and I decided to go ahead and start my Judge's Guild collection: Pegasus, Judges Guild Journal, and The Dungeoneer.

I'm pretty sure I missed getting picks of a couple of Dungeoneer issues. On my way home I stopped at another Half Priced Books and found three more books for my growing collection.

  1. Wow! Sounds like a very successful convention for you. Thanks for writing up these reports. I want to get to NTRPG someday. Heading to GenCon this summer. My first big con. I hope I have as much fun as you did at NTRPG.
